Heuron, a Medical AI Company, Initiates Preparations for Initial Public Offering

2026-09-01

Medical artificial intelligence (AI) company Heuron has officially begun preparations for a technology-specialized Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the KOSDAQ market. Recently, the company received an A-grade evaluation from two specialized agencies designated by the Korea Exchange, successfully surpassing the minimum requirement (A and BBB grades) for a preliminary screening.

Established following the launch of its R&D in 2019 and commercialized after receiving Ministry of Food and Drug Safety approval in 2021, Heuron currently provides quantitative analysis and diagnosis solutions for major neurological disorders, including stroke, dementia, and Parkinson's disease. The company is especially recognized for its unrivaled technological capabilities in diagnosing Parkinson's disease both domestically and globally.

Beyond its domestic presence, Heuron is expanding its business footprint into Asian markets such as Singapore, Thailand, and Taiwan, while beginning to generate revenues from applying its medical AI tech to new drug development. With Kiwoom Securities acting as its lead underwriter, Heuron plans to apply for a preliminary KOSDAQ screening within this year to accelerate its IPO trajectory.
